My Baking Journey
From the moment I first cracked an egg, I knew I was destined to create something special.
Baking has always been more than just mixing flour, sugar, and eggs; it’s about crafting edible art and love that delights the senses. Each cake, pastry, and cookie is a canvas where I express my creativity, and I strive to make every bite a memorable experience.
How It All Began
TLC started as a dream in college, where friends and classmates were eager to try the latest crazy idea from my kitchen. It all began with a simple goal: to bring happiness to others through delicious treats. As word spread and requests poured in, I decided to contract with a local coffeehouse to offer my creations to the public.
After investing time and resources to further my skills and knowledge, a cross-country move, and finishing grad school; I decided to take the leap and create my cottage bakery as an LLC. Today, I’m grateful to share my love for baking with the community I cherish.

At Tender Loving Confections, I believe that flavor is everything. I love experimenting with unique flavor combinations that surprise and delight your taste buds. Whether it’s a lavender-infused lemon tart or a spicy chocolate brownie, my creations are designed to take traditional recipes and add a twist that you won’t find anywhere else.
Favorite Desserts
When it comes to my personal favorites, I can’t resist a salted chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven or a perfectly tart key lime pie. I find joy in making desserts that showcase seasonal ingredients, like fresh berry tarts in summer or warm spiced apple pie in the fall. Each dessert I create holds a special place in my heart, and I’m always excited to share my favorites with my customers.
General Operations
At Tender Loving Confections, I prioritize quality and freshness. Everything is made from scratch using the finest ingredients, and I believe in keeping things local whenever possible. Our cottage (home) bakery operates on a part-time basis catering to special events, custom orders, and seasonal treats that celebrate the spirit of each holiday. Even though there is not a storefront to visit, you can find seasonal pre-orders, pop-up sales, and overbakes regularly!
A Little Bit More About Me
When I'm not in the kitchen whipping up new creations, you can find me hiking, birdwatching, or indulging in a good book. I also love spending time with my family, and am a proud stepmama, fur mama, and beloved auntie. They all often serve as my taste testers (and biggest fans!). I believe that life is best celebrated with great food and better company. So, whether you’re looking for the perfect cake for a special occasion or just a sweet treat to brighten your day, I’m here to make that happen.
